Luke is one week old today!

Hello all! My sweet little monkey is one week old today! I can't believe it has already been a week since he came into our lives...Time is really flying! At today's afternoon visit, we saw that Luke got moved into an isolette! Yay! This is actually a step up for him! He also had his IV removed so now is just the time for him to grow in his little "cocoon". He was up to 29cc's of food, but he had a few spit ups so the set him back down to 25 cc's. Also, I found out that he can't have anymore of my breast milk until he is close to full term. Apparently, because I 'ride the happy train' - the "lexapro" train, he can't take my milk until much later. The nurses say that this is ok - I can just pump and freeze until he can take milk that has medication in it. I was kind of sad, but I'm just gonna keep doing what I can do!! Hopefully he will have lots of stored up milk when he gets home! His grandma got to visit today and she was so excited! He is absolutely the most beautiful thing I have ever seen and I am so grateful to our Lord and Savior for giving me the most wonderful little boy I have ever seen! Until next time....keep monkey in your prayers! I will post some pics later!

Hey...let them spend all their money feeding him now & save all your money for feeding him for free at home!!! Its just another way for God to take care of you! Formula is too expensive!! Pump all that milk you can get girl!!You know I never could because of the breast feeding phobia! I am proud of you!!
